just a short update

We are always seeking where we are to go next. There are so many groups who would like us to join them in the field and supply eyeglasses to the poor that they will be helping. We are now committed to four more places this year, Ecuador, Peru, Panama, and as of last Friday..... Lebanon.

We are still praying about going to Haiti, Honduras, Guatemala and several countries in Africa. We are being patient and waiting for the Lord to confirm whether or not we are to be on these trips as well. There are so very many people who need to see with both their physical and spiritual eyes. I want to help them all but I must follow and let Christ lead.

God is always good to us! During the month of March I have been contacted by several doctors and optical suppliers who have offered to donate some lens blanks to us. We are so very thankful to everyone who makes "bringing vision to the world" possible, because you have partnered with us we have already made over 500 pairs of new lenses this month alone.

This morning a brilliant young 16 year old Whitewater High School student named Edmund Smith invited me to appear on 11 Alive News with him. Edmund is raising money to bring "hope to Haiti". Him and his team mates have already raised thousands of dollars by selling t-shirts around the community. He is going to donate the money he raises to the Northwest Haiti Christian Mission in St. Louis Denoir, Haiti. I have been there with God's Eyes a couple of years ago and hopefully God's Eyes will be able to supply Northwest with full optical services in the near future. Please take the time to check out their website at NWHCM.org . I've added this fine young man to my ever growing list of modern day heroes. I hope the Lord will raise up enough funds for God's Eyes so that both Edmund and I can go there soon and begin to bring some comfort to the millions of Haitians that they so desperately need.

more to follow,
bryan
